A child's environment should include as much as I can think of to help my child navigate as successfully as she can. It encourages more "Yeses than Nos". It encourages the development of a degree of control over everyday objects in her environment. It has ample opportunities to learn and satisfy her curiosity and become competent. It includes challenging learning materials to work with and opportunities for independence.
